Seth Kibel & Flo Anito

• Seth Kibel is one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier woodwind specialists, working with some of the best bands in jazz, swing, and more. Wowing audiences on saxophone, clarinet, and flute, Seth has made a name for himself in the Washington/Baltimore region, and beyond. He is the featured performer with The Kleztet, Bay Jazz Project, Music Pilgrim Trio, The Natty Beaux, and more. Winner of 28 Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies), including "Best World Music Instrumentalist" (2003-11) and "Best Jazz Instrumentalist" (2005, 2007-8, 2011-14). His most recent recording, "Clown With A Stick," was released in May 2023 on the Azalea City Recordings record label. He's won numerous prizes in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest (MASC) including the Grand Prize in 2016 and a Gold Prize in 2022.

• Flo Anito Having graced some of DC's biggest stages: Strathmore, Wolf Trap, Merriweather Post Pavilion, the Birchmere, Blues Alley, the Fillmore, Hamilton Live, and Bethesda Blues & Jazz - Flo Anito recently embarked on her first European tour, performing solo in the UK, Switzerland, Germany and Spain! A quirky, clever songwriter with a great big voice, that is in turn, sweet, sultry, powerful, and emotive, Flo's stage presence is undeniable. Classically trained in Voice, Piano, and Cello, raised on the stages of Summer stock musical theatre, and studying Music under Anthony Braxton and Alvin Lucier at Wesleyan University, Flo's sound is a rare hybrid. A Grand Prize winner on Ourstage, with multiple Wammy nominations for Best Pop/Rock Vocalist, Best Jazz Song, Best Jazz Group, Best Country/ Americana Group and Best Folk Group, come see why Flo Anito is wowing audiences internationally!

Dinner Under the Stars Wednesdays and Saturdays 6-10pm May 22 thru September 28

The first block of Annapolis’ historic West Steet is where families and friends meet Wednesday and Saturday evenings, from May to September, to relax, dine under the stars, dance and enjoy live music. It’s a tradition - when the summer sun sets, a canopy of overhead lights add romance to every evening of Dinner Under the Stars. Outdoor space is limited, reservations are recommended. Call the restaurant of your choice to reserve your table.

This will be my first year performing at the Greenbelt Jazz Festival and I'll be singing with the Seth Kibel band 3-3:45 PM. The music runs noon to 11 so come early and stay late! This show is free and outdoors (weather permitting) so come on out and hang with us - hope to see you there!

The Greenbelt Jazz Festival is held annually in the beautiful courtyard of Roosevelt Center, located adjacent to The New Deal Cafe. It is funded by FONDCA (Friends of New Deal Cafe Arts).
